How to Determine Internal Resistance of a battery ?

Apparatus required:

 

One Battery, One Ammeter and one Voltmeter.

 

Experimental setup:

 

Voltmeter - Used to measure the open circuit voltage of the battery. 

Ammeter - Used to measure the short circuit current of the battery.

                Experimental results are tabulated in observation table. The internal resistance of the battery  is given by:
